Aura crackle quartz is natural quartz that has been altered. It has been heat treated to crackle the crystal, and then the beads are coated with precious metal vapors in a vacuum chamber. It really cannot be considered natural after all of the processes it has undergone - but it is beautiful. It must also be handled with some care as the cracks within the stone make it a bit more brittle than untreated quartz.
This bracelet is handmade from 8mm diameter beads. It is stretchy and is one-size-fits most. As our jewelry is made using natural stone beads, no two items will be alike. Natural stones have varying shades, line patterns and inclusions. Natural stones may have chips, cracks or other imperfections.
